We will ask you a few questions and book the 4Qs overview course online, at a day and time that suits you. We refer to each course as a friction tune-up.

HOW DO WE START PAID COURSES?

Decide if you prefer a monthly or quarterly plan. You can pay US$500 per month for two courses. Or you can pay three months in advance and get six courses at a 10% discount. We will prepare and send you an invoice. Once we confirm payment you can book the course online at a day and time that suits you.

HOW DO WE BOOK?

Each time you book, you can choose a course you’d like delivered. We will also ask you to detail the friction point you would like to solve in your business. You will have an opportunity to provide a description and links to documents. It takes approximately three minutes to make a booking online.

Everything you need to do is covered when you get started. While it is helpful to download and complete the first few slides of the playbook, it is not essential.

HOW DOES THE SESSION WORK?

During the session, all ideas are demonstrated in a playbook. The playbook is a Google Slide and contains a history of renderings and ideas in one place. The playbook can be accessed anytime.

If necessary, we prepare lesson notes in the playbook before the session starts. It is a good idea to watch this explainer video.

WHEN CAN WE EXPECT TO SEE RESULTS?

Immediately. We implement improvements during the tune-up. The design thinking is captured in a playbook. After the session, we provide a one-page report to remind you what action to take next.

WHAT KINDS OF IMPROVEMENT I CAN EXPECT?

Build customer profiles, write product factsheets, strike a shared belief, and design customer flows. We review your scripts. Change a word, a button, a subject-line. Or you can ask us to work on a broader piece, like writing a product fact sheet or creating a brand guideline.

CAN YOU TUNE-UP APPS LIKE MAILCHIMP?

Yes. In addition to your website, we can tune-up applications you are using like MailChimp.

IS IT TRUE THE SESSION TIME IS UNLIMITED?

Almost. Most attendees find one hour to be a comfortable length of time. However, we allow an extra hour in case you need it.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I INVITE?

Any number. For practical reasons, we suggest no more than five. That allows enough time for equal participation. Invite staff, shareholders, key suppliers - anybody responsible for rolling out the 4Qs.

SCREEN CASTING THE SESSION OKAY?

Yes. You can record the session yourself, or we can do this for you. Anyone who didn't attend the tune-up can watch the video.

HOW IS A SESSION HOSTED?

The session is held over Google Hangouts or Zoom. To join, a link will be provided to the attendee to join the session. The link can be shared with others who wish to join.

DO I NEED SPECIAL HARDWARE?

A portable or desktop computer (Mac or PC) is all that is required to join the session. However, we recommend a set of earphones with microphone pickup, and a web camera to share video feed of yourself.

If you elect to use Zoom, install Zoom on your personal PC.

CAN I ATTEND THE SESSION VIA MOBILE?

Yes, but it’s not recommended. The experience is suboptimal. Smartphones will need google meetings or Zoom installed prior to the session starts.
